How Synergistech Differs from its Competitors

With due respect to the few exceptions, most recruiters deserve their reputation as dollar-driven, inattentive, and exploitative. They are paid only for results, which they and their management define as current income. This is the reason they often "pick the low-hanging fruit" and manipulate both client and candidate to coerce a match. They don't understand their client's business or the role they're filling, and feel no need to care. They behave expediently, and their commitment ends on the hire date.

Such recruiters would never agree to stand behind their work and accept responsibility for 'service after the sale.' In practice, this means these recruiters won't raise a finger to help 'rescue' a placement for which they've already been paid, and often also that they'll lie about a reference check, poach your personnel, deceive you about a candidate's employment or earnings history, and worse.

With all other recruiting firms, if the hiring organization discovers a recruiter's misrepresentation or other malfeasance after the candidate is hired and the typical guarantee period (up to 90 days) has expired, it's out of luck. It's too expensive to sue and too risky to terminate the worker, plus the recruiter may well have already moved on.

Synergistech believes its clients deserve much better. Specifically:

  1. We understand the roles and relevance of technical communicators; Andrew was a developer-doc Tech Writer for eight years
  2. We listen well, are detail-oriented, and work hard to educate ourselves and our candidates
  3. We practice the Golden Rule, act promptly and honorably, speak candidly, and expect reciprocity
  4. We are knowledgeable about contractor tax law, and are unique in arranging compliant 1099-based independent contractor relationships that jeopardize neither the company's interests nor the worker's favorable tax status
  5. We keep our commissions modest so no one feels exploited
  6. We are motivated by trust, respect, and gratitude — money's nice, but for us it's no substitute
  7. We are willing to put our income on the line with...

Synergistech's Perpetual Performance Guarantee

In addition to the refund policy specified in our recruiting agreement with each company we serve, we make our clients this commitment:

Synergistech agrees to forfeit or repay 100 percent of our commission — for both staff and contract placements — if at any time the hiring organization shows that we acted unethically, unprofessionally, or dishonestly during or after the actual recruiting process. This guarantee does not expire, ever.

To our knowledge, this guarantee is unique in the technology and recruiting industries. We challenge any other recruiter to make the same commitment.

We want you to have complete confidence that we provide unsurpassed recruiting services AND that working with Synergistech will save you both time and money or else it's free!

If you have questions about our services, or the scope of this guarantee, just ask. We're standing by to bring you the best technical communications talent available.

Synergistech's Commitment to Fairness and Full Disclosure

Synergistech is fully committed to candor and complete disclosure. Where our competitors rationalize their failure to tell the whole story, we believe our hiring managers and candidates deserve to be treated as adults and not misled, deceived, or preyed upon. We readily inform all affected parties what we earn, where our biases are, and how we can (and cannot) help them achieve their goals.

Synergistech is proud to have passed the Recruiters' Acid Test and earned the recruiting industry's highest commitment to integrity. We adhere fully to the Contract Worker's Bill of Rights formulated by PACE (the Professional Association of Contract Employees).

Synergistech is also currently the only organization in the world to comply with PACE's definition of a "marketing broker" — an all-too-rare service that introduces workers to clients then allows the two parties to do business directly, and when appropriate to choose their own employer-of-record (EOR) service. We thank PACE for its vote of confidence in Synergistech's ethical, transparent, and fair business practices.
